groom, which was placed on a re

by white candles.
Mrs. Donley presided at the
punch bowl, and Mrs. Edward
Phillips assisted the hostesses in
serving. The honoree received a
quantity of lovely gifts. Approxi
mately 35 guests attended.

Lonnie Preston Wilcox, Jr., five
months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. L.
P. Wilcox of Murphy, who had been
ill several days, was found dead in
bed Saturday morning when his
parents awoke.
Funeral services were held Sun
day afternoon at 3 o'clock at Hang
ingdog Baptist church with the
Rev. J. Alton Morris of Murphy
and the Rev. W. P. Elliott of Rob
binsyille officiating. Burial was
in the church cemetery with Ivie
funeral home in charge.
Surviving besides the parents is
a brothei. Mike.
Pallbearers were Billy Ramsey,
Billy Adams. Sammy White and
Tommy Gentry.
INFANT DIES
Graveside services were held
Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at
Peachtree Baptist cemetery for
Timothy Allen Tabor, infant son of
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tabor who died
Friday at a Murphy hospital. The
Rev. I lam Coffey officiated.
Surviving are the parents.
