News has just been received
here of the death of Charles B
Stalcup of Lithia Springs, Ga
February 7.
He was a member of the Mount
Vernon Baptist church of Frank
lin. He lived near Murphy for
several years, later being employ
ed by the L & N railroad at
F.towah, Tenn.
Funeral services were held at
the Rock Baptist church near
Atlanta with the Rev. Howard
Walker officiating and the Rev.
R. O. Guest assisting. Burial was
in the church cemetery, with the
Yarn Bros, funeral home in charge (
of arrangements.
Surviving are his widow, two !
daughters, Mrs. Willard Stringer |
of Franklin. Ky., and Mrs. C. F.
Russell of Atlanta and two sons. '
