SOCIETY Mrs, Brumby Is Hostess Tuesday To Her Auxiliary Mrs E. H. Brumby was hostess to the Woman's auxiliary of the Presbyterian church Tuesday after noon The meeting was opened with pi v.; r by Mrs. T. G. The devotional, on the topic "I Am My Brother's Keeper", was presented by Miss Bertha Mayfield. Mrs. W. M Axley discussed the Temperance question, dealing with (he Christian women's interest in Alcoholism and recent scientific findings and methods of helping alcoholics An open forum on this topic was conducted by Mrs. Hamp ton. Mrs. Palmer, assisted by Mrs. \\*. P. Odom. Mrs. Vance Wilson. Miss Hattie Palmer and Miss Mar vie Walker, served refreshments fo the 19 members and three guests present.
