Mulkey I of Andrews have announced the ! marriage of their daughter, Miss I Billie Jane Mulkey, to Boyd A Rogers, son of Mrs. Bertha Rog ' ers and the late Thomas A. Rog j i rs of Andrews. The wedding took place in the First Baptist Church in Blairsville, Ga. on Wednesday evening, July 14 The Rev. Claude C. Boynton pastor of the First Baptist Church of Blairsvill, pronounced the vows. The couple entered the church together. Mrs. Paul Best, sister of the groom was the only attend ent. The bride wore a baby blue dress with lace trim and matching white accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of sweetheart roses. Mrs. Rogers is a graduate of An drews high school. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Andrews high school and is at present employed by the South ern Railway as depot agent and is stationed at Landrum, S. C. For the present the couple arc making their home in Andrews. Mrs. Luke Ellis Honors Her Club ANDREWS ? Mrs. Luke Ellis was hostess to the Fortnightly Bridge Club at the Terrace Hotel on Fri day night of last week. For table decorations she used a fan-shaped arrangement of zin nias in a crystal bowl . Hudson attended a meeting of the Council on Christian Education of the Bap t : si State Convention, hold at .Mars Hill College on Thursday. July 22. Mr. Hudson was chairman of a special committee on standard for Baptist colleges, and serving with him were two other board members and the presidents of the six Baptist colleges of the state. Accompanying Mr. Hudson was Mrs. Hudson who visited her daughter, Miss Catherine Hudson who is a student at Mars Hill this summer . Supt. Hudson spent Friday in Asheville on school business. Rev. E.
