Mrs. Louisa Rogers has moved back to her old home in Georgia. Mrs. Crawford Auberry fell and broke her hip and had to be tak en to a hospital in Atlanta last Monday. She is now in a Murphy hospital, and her condition is somewhat improved. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wilson, and Mrs. Aud Wilson and family spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Sarah Tweed of Little Brasstown, who is reported to be one hundred and tight years old. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mareow of Alestec, Oklahoma, their daughter and her family, were visitors of Mrs. Mareows brother, Mr. and Mrs. Will Brendle, here last week. Mrs. Mamie Rich was a business visitor in Blairsville, Ga., last Saturday. Boyd Scroggs. who has been in the hospital in Murphy, is much improved. Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt V. Rogers of Cut Cane spent the week-end with her parents here, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Garrett. The Girl Scouts gave a farewell party last week for Miss Edna Richie, who is leaving shortly for her home in Kentucky. The revival at Little Brasstown Church closed Sunday night, July 25. Twenty-four people were bap tised into the church. Miss Wanda Scroggs and Bill Hampton were married last Sun c'ay. Ira Davenport of Dooly was a business visitor in this section last week.
