Andrews PTA Has Meeting ANDREWS ? The Andrews Parent-Teachers Association met in the high sehool auditorium on November 9th with Mrs. Wendell Morris, president, presiding. Reports were made from various committees. Miss Elizabeth Kil pa trick made a financial report Mrs. Morris spoke of the suc cess of the "Harvest Sale" and a vote of thanks was given Mrs. Grant Phillips who was chairman of the harvest sale. Mrs. Morris gave a report on the budget as follows: School lunches for needy children $75.00. clothing for needy children $200.00. work on sehool grounds $50.00. delegate expense to state conven tion $25.00. high school library SI 00.00. equipment for elementary school $100 00 The budget was accepted by the association Mrs. Chas. Huffman reported that she had no information as yet. in regard to the school boy patrol which was suggested at the October meeting. The P. T A agreed to renew the Cub Scout charter for tin coming year. Mrs. Lucy Laughter Mrs. Jane Orr and Mrs. Galusha Pu Ilium were asked to serv e on i the committee to secure Cub 1 Scout officer* Mrs. Bill Cathey. clothing chair man, reported that $44 45 had been spent for clothing for needy children and about $200.00 worth of clothing had been donated and distributed to the children.
