Branch Office, effective January' ' Dallas is one of the largest agencies in the company's organization, which covers thirty states the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The former Dallas manager Robert M. White, died of a heart attack November 4 Following his graduation from the University of North Carolina in 1929 Mr. Wright was engaged in banking,* and later in public school work for several years, serving as Principal of Murphy High School, at Murphy, from 1937 to 1944 It was during this period that he began his career with the Jefferson Standard at Murphy In September, 1944 he was appointed district manager at Mongarbuon. and rn February. 1947, he assumed the position of branch manager at Durham Mr. Wright has been active for many years in educational, civic and religious affairs. Ln Murphy he served a^> Scoutmaster, Presi dent of the Tri-State Athletic As sociation.
