These young men were inducted ,nto the army on the same day, going to Camp Atterbury. Indiana. From there they were sent to Ja pan and later to Korea. Delegates Sent To Convention The officers of the local N. C. E. A. Unit in Andrews were sent as delegates to the State Teachers' Convention in Asheville last week. They were E. N. Jenkins, presi dent; David Scarborough, vice president; Mrs. Clyde Rector, sec retary; and Miss Ruth Hamilton, treasurer. Mrs. Faye Ensley of Andrews spent the week-end with Miss Cleo Hicks. Jeipry Hicks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Hicks, has been confined to his home several days suffering with pneumonia, Miss Jeanette Tatham spent last Sunday night with Miss Jean Cur tis. Elden Hicks, who has been suf fering with a broken leg, is much improved at his home.
