Cook was a veteran of World
War II and had been taking G. I.
training In mechanics.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs.
Vivian Hooper Cook; two daugh
ters, Lois and Shirley of the home;
the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse
Cook of Robblnsvllle; four bro
thers, Cliff and Wlllard of Frank
lin, Charles of Hickory, and Eulas
