He was a native of Andrews, aged AO years, a member of the Bap tist Church of Anadarko, Okla. He was buried at San Pablo. Mr. Raxter was the father of Mrs. Opal Rogers of Anadarko, Okla., Mrs. Inarie Mcintosh of Richmond, Calif., Mrs. Pauline Bell, Mrs. Wllma May Giddings and Arlin Raxter, all of San Pablo, Calif., Newell Raxter of San Fran cisco, Calif., Cecil Raxter of Fres no. Calif., Charles Raxter of Clin ton. Okla., and step-father of Har old Roy of the U. S. Air Forces and Robert Roy of the U. S. Navy. He was a brother of Mrs. Arlie Mann, Mrs. W. H. He will preach Aug ust 19 and 29. District Meeting Is This Weekend A District quarterly meeting of the Free Methodists will be held In the local Free Methodist Church on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Friday evening the Rev. C. Z. Miner will preach, on Saturday at 10 a. m., district quarterly meeting wiU be held; Saturday night will be known as "Youth Night", with the Rev. Lloyd Nichols preaching. On Sunday morning after Sun day School, which will be held at the regular time, there will be a Love Feast prior to the morning w orhshlp service which will be a missionary service. Rev. R. L. Wood Is the pastor. Harold Martin Gets Discharge Harold Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Martin of Andrews, re ceived an honorable discharge from the Navy last week. Martin served three years In the Atlantic and Pacific during World War II. He was called back into service a year ago as a reserve and was stationed at Charleston, S. C? for the past year. Mr. Martin went to Aiken, S. C., this week where he hopes to se cure employment. ???? Heatons Given House Warming Friends of Mr And Mrs. Robert Heaton of Andrews surprised them on Saturday evening with a picnic supper at the Airport and a house warming at their new home.
