The other property deemed next most suitable was the West prop erty adjoining the old Riverside Ho tel. The Cover property adjoins the tannery at Andrews, and can be purchased-wlth a 300 foot front age (possibly 400) on the highway I and extending back to include eight acres of land-tor some 15.166, it was said. . * A triangular strip of land across ' from the site, owned by Mrs. Giles Cover, can also be secured by the hospital, Percy B. Fere bee, chair maa of the committee, said. A minimum of six acres with 300 foot frontage Is required. The property chosen already has water and sewage lines running in front, according to Mr. Fereb ee, and the site has been approved by the Medical Care Commission, he said. The West property, Mr. Ferebee said, ha* no wmterllne and a street would have to be widened and pav ed and a ditch leading from the Extract plant would have to be covered, Mr. Ferebee said. Friday, Aug. 27, in a local hospi tal after a brief illness though he had been in declining health for several years. # He was a native of Union County Ga., son of Mrs. Wesley Christo was a small boy. He served for several years as clerk of the town at Murphy and was head of the Christopher Lum ber Corporation ior a number of years until his retirement due to HI health. Survivors include the mother; one daughter, Mrs. Louise Schuy ler; three sons, Jack ?f Knoxvllle, Tenn., Harry of Atlanta, Oa. ,ted Kenneth of MadiaonvUle, Ky.
