Martin of Andrews, died Tues day at 3 a. m. at the home of a laughter Mrs. A. K. Lemmings In Adairsville. Ga. He was 93 years I old and had been in ill health for , several months. Mr. Martin was born in Tennes- j see. but had spent most of hisj life in Cherokee county as a farm- j , sr. His first wife was the former j ' Miss Dollie Whltaker of Andrews,] -vho died in 1910. His second wife j was Miss Liza Lunsford of Marble ivho survives. Also surviving besides the wid )w and Mrs. Lemming, two sons, Weldon Martin of Andrews and Cero Martin of Biltmore: 11 srrand children. including Boyd and Har nld Martin, Mrs. M. J. Jordan ind Mrs. Kenneth Stover, all of Andrews ; also 22 great grand children. Funeral services were held at Adnirsville at 2:30 p. m. Wednes day. McCurdy of Kimsbrough, Mass., a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Faust, North Augusta, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Upon Mr. McCurdy's retirement from the railroad, the family left here for Augusta where they own ed a home. John R. Jones Dies In Andrews ' John Richard Jones, 68, died suddenly at his home in Andrews at 1:30 p. m. Sunday, Oct. 30. He was a lifelong resident of Andrews.
