Mrs. C. T. Almond was in charge of the program Monday; Mrs. Pink Leming was leader for the ob servance Tuesday evening; In charge Wednesday was the Inter mediate Girls Auxiliary. The Busi ness Woman's Circle with Mrs. Amos Harris as leader will present the program topic "For God So loved the World" Thursday night. officiated and burial was in the family plot in Sunset Cemetery. Fain and Ida Phillips Fain, a prominent Murphy family, and had spent his life here. ? Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. W. M. Butt of Blue Ridge, Ga., Mrs. Maurine Bryant of Murphy, and Mrs. Norton Sterrett a mis sionary to India, and several nieces and nephews. Townson Funeral Home was in charge. J. E. Debty Funeral services for J- E. Debty, 29, of Robbinsville, who died at 10:30 p. m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 in an Andrews hospital, after two weeks of illness, were held at 10 a. m. Friday in Sweetgum Baptist Church. The Rev. Kenneth Hicks officiat ed and burial was in the church cemetery. He had been an invalid all his life and was known to his friends as Joe. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertha Davis Debty; three sisters, Miss Judy Debty of Dalton, Ga., the Misses Hyda Jean and Magdalene of the home and one brother Tommy of the home.
