ANDREWS PERSONALS i Her and Mrs- E. D. Wither spooa and their daughter Kay, are spending this week in Mon treal where they are attending the World Mission conference of the Presbyterian church. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Delaney and son, Charlie left Saturday for a vacation trip to points in Flori da. Mr. and Mrs- I. W. Faires and daughter, Evelyn have returned to their home in Charlotte after a visit here with Mr. Faires' sister, Mrs. Edwin Bristol and her family. Miss Judy Bistol accomp anied them on the return trip as far as Montreat where she will at tend the World Mission confer ence for several days this week. Mrs. L. B. Nichols left last week for Villa Rica, Ga. where she will join her sisters, Mrs. Anna An ders and Mrs. T. I. Underwood for a vacation at Destin Beach, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dickey and their children of Wauchula, Fla. and Mrs- Jack McCraney and her two children, Jackie and Ei leen of Aiken, S. C. are guests of their mother, Mrs. W. T. Holland. Mrs. Paul Boring and daughter, Sara Alice of Canton, Ga. are spending a week's vacation as guests of Mrs. Boring's parent, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Dewar. Mrs. Dewar and her guests spent Sun day night at Brevard where they attended the Transylvania Music Program and were guests of Mar ion Dewar who is attending the summer music camp. Mrs. J. W. Brown had as her guests last week her relatives, C. W. Tolson and D. W. Taylor of Miami, Fla. Rev. and Mrs. T. C. Christmas had as their guests for the week end Mr- and Mrs. Roy Paxton and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Culberson of Alcoa, Tenn. Mrs. Carl West and son, Truett will leave Sunday for Caswell As sembly where they will attend a week's training Union conference They will be joined in Asheville by her brother, J. L. Truett Mr. and Mrs. L. G Payne and ion, Gregg of Atlanta are spend ing this week as guests of the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Almond. Miss Frances Cover and Mrs. W. W. Ashe attended the Flower Show in Franklin Saturday. Mrs. Cora Watkins has returned from a month's stay in Lexington Park, Md. as guest of her son, Howard Watkins and his family and a visit with her brother, Ed gar Howard and his family in Arlington, Va. Mrs- Maude Parsons of Se bring, Fla., is here for an extend ed visit with her daughter, Mrs. Doris Teas. Mrs. Dorothy Rolfe of Nashville, Tenn., has also been viiting Mrs. Teas for the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Hay Jr. and daughter, Karen of Boynton Beach, Fla. have arrived for a stay at their summer home in Valley town. Mrs. R E. Ham and Mrs. H. W. Gross of Lyman, S. C., arrived Monday for a visit with their bro ther, Victor Wood and other rela tives. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Elliott were guests of his sister, Mrs. Ruth Carringer and her son, Wal ter Carringer in Murphy Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. James Harris and daughter, Nancy, left last week for a vacation in Waverly, Tenn. with relatives and friends. While away they will spend some time at the beach. Sybil Hughes Wed To John Cannon In Chattanooga Mrs. Winona Hughes announces the marriage of her daughter, Sybil Hughes, to John C&nnon, the son of Mrs. Walter Cannon and the late Mr. Cannon of Chatta nooga, Tenn. < The couple were married July 16 in Chattanooga by the Rev George McClure in a double ring ceremony at the Pastor** home.
