More heat may toon be
available to help keep more
Americans healthy, thanks to
our oil companies which are
looking for alternative fuel
sources such as geothermal
and solar heat. Since those
companies have the engineer
ing know-how and develop
ment capital to do a good job
developing these sources, it
could mean more jobs for
Americans, too.
Heat is measured in British
Thermal Units (BTUs), each
unit being equal to the quan
tity of heat required to raise
the temperature of one
pound of water at its maxi
mum density one degree
Fahrenheit.
