BIBLE THOUGHT
FOR THE WEEK
Psalms 61:1-2 "Hear my cry.
O God. Attend unto my prayer
from the end of the earth will I
cry unto thee. When my heart
is overwhelmed, lead me to
the rock that is higher than I."
CENTRAL TRUTH
There is no use telling
people not to worry when they
have just cause for worry. I am
not of that school of philosophy
that proclaims: Smile and the
world smiles with you; weep
and you weep alone. God has
never promised to remove all
of our troubles or pioblems,
but if we will serve him they
will be lighter and much easier
to bear,

Helpful Tips
You can save energy cool
ing your house by using the
same things that help you
save when heating your
house: storm windows. Kept
on windows not needed for
ventilation, they help keep
cool air in, warm air out.
The Department of Energy
has estimated that proper at
tic insulation can save up to
30 percent of heating and
cooling bills, since heat tends
to rise and escape through an
insufficiently insulated roof. ;
The same insulation reduces
the need for cooling by keep- {
ing out the sun's heat.
