Locklear, made her debut as a special guest at a cookout at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Hardy H. Bell. Also present for the occasion was Dr Paul Givens, now chancellor at Pembroke State University. Carnell Locklear, Boss Strong" of "Strike at the Wind", and Little Miss Lumbee's parents. During the cookout, April did her winning rendition of 'Take me out to the Ball Game." At the first of the service Brother Tommy Cox stood up and testified to how that God had performed a miracle for him and his family last week. (Buddy) Carter jr. has a baby boy. Master Robert E. Carter III this is their first child. Mrs. Lucille Carter and Mr. Johnson Jacobs are in the hospital and they need your prayers. Mr. Robert E.
