Leacle Brooks The Revival was a great success. Many souls came to Jesus. We had good preach ing. The attendance was good. Sunday School opened at 9:30. The assistant Super intendent. Bro. Jimmie Jones read from Matthew 28:1-10. We had some visitors who were given a hearty welcome. The lesson was based on the Resurrection. One of the ones saved was a member of my Sunday School class. Mrs. Bonnie Wilkins. We have a wonderful class. The Lord sent a shower of blessings on us. It was a red letter day for our people. The secretary didn't get a chance to give the report until about 1 o'clock. Jesus is still in the saving business. Besides Mrs. Wilk ins. there were Mrs. Kirby Amonds. and many more. We're so proud of each one who accepted Jesus. Help us pray that they will hold out ( faithful until the end. Wednesday night Prayer Service will be held and you are invited. Saturday, an Easter Egg Hunt was held for all the children of our church at Mr. Carmel Lowry's pond. We had a wonderful time. Fish and hot dogs were served with all types of different sweets and drinks. A large group was present. Please pray for the sick ones of our church. Mrs. Maggie Locklear is sick. Oak Grove Church visited and held ser vices with her Monday night. The service was under the direction of Bro. Wilton Wil kins. Mrs. Iola Strickland and her mother. Mrs. Nancy Ann Oxendine. She fell and is in the hospital. Mrs. Margaret Oxendine is still unable to be in church. Mrs. Flora Ann Jemington is j . ilso tick. Pray the Lord will heal them so they'll be able to come back to church if it's the Lord's will Sunday is regular preaching lay. Rev. Joseph Locklear. our pastor, is to preach. Pray for this service. THOUGHT FOR TODAY When we think we have peace, then destruction comes. This is why Jesus said. Pray without ceasing. Today, we need to pray as never before. The rich man thought he had everything but his soul was black with sin. When his eyes were opened he was in hell with nothing. Dear reader pray and miss hell; it's an swful place. You must pray or that will be your home. I pray ooone reading this will go that iwful place called hejl. Please pray tor us at Ever jreen. Pray that 1. myself, wtti jc a light in someone's darkest tour. \ Ig&lL, EVERY P^^EDNESDflY I SUNDAE DINNER L THC WIG FAMILY TntAT 'SCtVtS i TO tO J r.A.P.
