The following is a rundown of upcoming tournaments. 'Pembrakci Men-Regular season ends Thursday. July 17 with tournament to run from Monday. July 21 through Tuesday. July 29. Women Tournament to run from Wed nesday. July 23 through Wed nesdav. July 30. Both tour naments will be played at Oxendine Field in Pembroke. FairmontiMen- Tournament is scheduled to run from Monday. July 28 through Saturday. August 16. Women Regular season ends Saturday. July 19 with Tournament to run from Thurday. July 31. through Tuesday. August 12. Both tournaments are slated to be played at Fairmont Middle School. Maxton:Men- Regular season ended Tuesday. July IS. Maxlon community Park will be the site for the tournament which will run from Thursday. July 17. through Thursday. July 24. St Paula: Men-Regular season ends Monday. July 21. Tournament is scheduled to run from Wednesday. July 23 through Thursday, July 31. at St. Pauls High School. Red Springes Men- Tourna ment is currently going on at Tom Pope Athetic Park in Red Springs. Championship game is Friday. July 18. North Robeson: Women-Re gular season ends Tuesday. August 5. The Darlington race, one of six held in various points in the United'9t?tes in 1980 to determine the 01 riders of motorcycles in the U.S., will be unusual in that it is the only 1980 event scheduled at night. Friday and Saturday's daytime schedule will be filled with time trials, qualifying and record' runs. Grand elimina tions (tournament style) to the S60.000 pot 'o gold will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday night. Harold Brewington, a partner in the Darlington track who was recently honored by NAS CAR and IHRA for his great contributions to automobile racing said.
