TV & Terrorists TV is the perfect ? medium for exploitation 1 by terrorists--and they utilize the process to per fection. Whether it's the revolutionaries in this country, a gang in Ger many, the red brigades in Italy, or IRA terrorists in England and Ireland, TV serves their cause. That's almost in evitable, because throw ing a gasoline bomb in the street is just what the TV cameraman wants. It Tits his technological need. So do demonstrations, vio lence in the streets, fights, destruction and various forms of mass protests. In other words, action is what TV news likes. Those who stage it get in the news. The process often al lows a small majority to , convey the impression J that large masses of I citizens are in turmoil In V support of their cause. | ' Carolina Indian Voice A | 1.
