OBITUARIES
W.O. MAYNOR
Funeral services for W.O.
Maynor were held on Tues
day, July 7, 1981 at Burnt
Swamp Baptist Church. Offi
ciating ministers were Rev.
Tilford Locklear and Rev.
C.M. Cummings. Burial fol
lowed In the church cemetery.
Mr. Maynor, 78. died on
Saturday, July 4, 1981. He is
survived by his wife, Maudie
(Lillie) Maynor of the home;
one daughter, Mrs. Mavis
Sampson of Pembroke; one
sister, Mrs. Rommy Locklear
of Hickory, NC; and three
grandchildren: Dinah, Chris
and Trent.

for Howard Oxendine on
Wednesday, July 8, 1981 at
Pleasant View Baptist Chur
ch. Officiating ministers were
Rev. King Maynor and Rev.
Vester Oxendine. Burial

and 18 great-grandchildren.
