YOUTH FOE CHRIST
CHURCH NEWS
by VWm Mam WIMm
Pastor of Youth for Christ
Church is Rev. Larue Barton.
Assistant Pastor is Elder
W.T. Lowery.
Rev. Larue Barton is sche
duled to preach Sunday.
We welcome everyone to
our singing Sunday at 2:30
p. m.
Everyone that is in our
plays--"The Wedding Invita
tion," and "Too Late"--are
asked to stay over following
the singing to practice. This
will be the only time we will
get to practice before the
plays, so it is important that
everyone practice.
The revival is held this
week at the Pentecostal
Church of Christ. Everyone is
invited to attend and worship
the Lord together.
The revival at the Youth for
Christ Church will begin July
12 at 7:30 p.m. There will be
different speakers each night.
On Friday night the Young
People will present "The
Wedding Invitation" and
"Too Late."
The Young People who are
planning to go on our trip the
29th need to pay their S10 fee
by Sunday.
We will be selling sand
wiches Friday. July 17th,
after the plays. We also will
be having a Bake Sale July
2Sth at 10 a.m. in front of
Carlton's. Everyone will be
expected to donate cakes and
pies for this sale.
Remember our sick and
shut-in. especially Elder W.T.
Low cry and Sis. Pearlie Low
ety.
Continue praying for the
leaders and members of our
church. Pray that our preach
ers will preach the Word as
the Lord gives it to them, and
that the members will take
heed and obey. Especially
pray for our Sunday School
teachers. Sunday School is
where the majority of sinners
hear the Word, because after
Sunday School they usually go
home. If our Sunday School
teachers are anointed with the
Word on Sunday they could
reach more souls. We are
studying the Book of Mat
thew, and we are really
getting a lot from the Word.
We invite you to come and
worship with us in any, or all
our services.

Sunday School at Outreach
Holiness Church begins at 10
a.m. Worship Service begins
at II a.m. Wednesday Night
Service is at 7:30 p.m. The
pastor is the Rev. James
"Buddy" Bullard.
We praise God for how He
is blessing our Church and
people. God gave us a won
derful revival this past week.
Souls were saved. "Sancti
fied" saints were made to
rejoice. God is so good to His
people. We had a great
Sunday School lesson con
cerning how God used just a
10-year-old boy to lead the
people back to God.
Our pastor preached a
wonderful sermon on Joshua
6:18--"And ye, in any wise
keep yourselves from the
accursed thing, lest ye make
yourselves accursed: when ye
take of the accursed thing,
and make the camp of Israel
a curse, and trouble it."
God poured His Spirit out
among His people and they all
were blessed. God is a good
God. Praise God! I love Him
this day.
