OUTREACH HOLINESS
CHURCH NEWS
Our Reach Holiness Church
Sunday School begins at 10
a.m. Morning worship service
begins at 11 a.nt. First and
third Sunday sight service
begins at 7 p.m. Singing each
fourth Sunday evening at 2:30
p.m. The pastor is Rev. James
Billiard, Jr.'
Praise God for another time
that we can say God has been
godd* tt> us. And I'fn sure he
has been good to you.
Our lesson Sunday was
"Confrontation With Truth."
What a great lesson. We muse
always tell the truth, what
thus saith the word. God's -
children should be readV
always to give an answer to
every man that asks of you, a
reason of the hope that is in
you, with meekness and fear.
Though people may not al
ways accept our witness, it is
still our responsibility to tell
others of Christ.
Paul was on the road to
Damascus when he had a
genuine confrontation with
the Lord Jesus Christ who
changed his course, his entire
life. He later wrote, "1 live,
yet not I, but Christ liveth in
me." Galatians 2:20. There
fore if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature. Praise
God, old things are passed
away, behold all things are
become new.
Our pastor, Rev. James
Bullard then preached a
great soul- stirring message
from Acts 2:39 "For the
Promise is Unto you and to
your children and to all that
are afar off, even as many as
the Lord our God shall call.
Praise God. Do you know
what that promise is? Some
say the holy spirit, but check
the word of God and see if he
didn't say in Acta 2:4 "And
they were all filled with the
Hofy Ghost and began to
speak with other tongues as
the spirit gave then utteran
ee."
I praise God for the Hoiy
Ghost. Jt is a teacher, it keeps
you when it seems that storms
of life are getting rough the
Holy Ghost will take you
through.
We first must repent and be
baptized, every one of you in
the name of Jesus Christ for
the remission of sins. John
17:14-17. I have given them
thy word; and the world hath
hated them because they are
not of the world, even as 1 am
not of the world. I pray not
that thou shouldest take them
out of the world, but that thou
shouldest keep them away
from the evil. They are not of
the world, even as I am not of
the world. Sanctify them
through thy truth; thy word is
truth. So we know from the
word of God that these men
were not sinners when they
went in the upper room but
were saved and sanctified and
on that Great Day of Pente
cost they were filled with the
Holy Ghost."
murcn, n is as real toaay
as it was them, but what
happened? People won't cle
an up to receive this great
blessing from God because
his words say He will not
dwell in an unclean temple.
Praise God he has some that
have prepared a body and the
Holy Ghost is dwelling there.
He is real, praise God. I just
feel the presence of God as I
write. I would love to invite
you to come be with us at the
Out Reach Holiness Church.
You are welcome and we love
you. Don't forget our singing
the fourth Sunday evening at
2:30 p.m.
Continue to pray that God
will send us a piano player.
May God bless and keep you
is our prayer.
