FL Unites, an annual training and information exchange pro gram, focused on Joint mari time training between Coast Guard and Naval forces along with units from several South American and Caribbean cou ntries. While in the Caribbean, the Steadfast also conducted se minars and demonstrations in search and rescue, navigation and communication, first aid, damage control, fire fighting, and vessel boarding tech niques. Officiating ministers were Uev. Italton Brooks and Rev. Horace Strickland. The bride was escorted by her father, IVoctor Dicklear Jr., and her godfather, Tom Carter. Her gown was made of satin with a chapel length scouped train featuring long topped sleeves, a fitted bodice with a Queen Anne neckline made with lace and beaded pearls. Her head was adorned with a veil of a juliet cap with beaded pearls and scolloped lace around the edges, featu ring fingertip length with blusher.
