At the Strike at the Wind Art
Auction on Tuesday evening, Dr.
Ruth Dial Woods, on behalf of
the Indian Education Parent
Committee, made a successful
bid and procured the original
painting of local artist, Karen
Coronado, who was commission
ed by Robeson County Historical
Drama to paint this year's art
work. The painting, title "The
Warmth of Unity," will be hous
ed in the Robeson County Indian
Education Resource Center
together with other art collec
tions, memorabilia of Robeson
County Indian history and
culture, and historial research
collectiolns including old deeds,
inarraigc bonds, video-taped con
versations with the elders, and
other Indian Education cur
liculuni materials. Barbara

the Robeson County Indian
Education Resource Center, ac
cepted the painting of the Indian
Education Parent Committee.
