Cain were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at First Presbyterian Church here. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William J. Atha of Rome. The parents of the bride groom are Mrs. Darius O. Cain, Mayfield, Ky., and Fred L. Cain, Murray, Ky. Dr. Harold L. Martin of Birm ingham, Ala., performed the ceremony before an altar flanked by seven-branch candelabra adorned with red bows and encir cled at the base with red poinset tia. Hurricane globes with white tapers enhanced the windows of the church. A program of wedding music was presented by organist and (/MMiai. ??uwi num, oaiuuiurv, Md., and Dr. John Atha, Rock mart. Selections included "One Hand, One Heart" and "The Lord's Prayer." The processional was "The Bridal Chorus" and the re cessional was "The Wedding March." The maid of honor was Judy Moyer, Augusta. She wore a tea-length gown of green irides cent silk and carried a bouquet of red poinsettia. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal gown ot ivory silk designed with long sleeves and a bodice em broidered with lace with a full skirt and cathedral-length train. Her veil of silk illusion was at tached to a headpiece of lace ap pliques and seed pearls. The bride carried a cascading bou quet of red and ivory rosebuds, daisies, stephanotis, ivy and baby's breath. The best man was Kyron Cain, brother of the bridegroom, Augusta. Ushers were the bride's brothers, Victor Atha and Steve Atha, both of Atlanta, and Wil liam Atha and Joshua Atha, both of Rome. After the ceremony, a recep tion was held at the Coosa Coun try Club. Guests were greeted by Dr. and Mrs. Andrew McAlister, Rome. Refreshments included the bride's triple-tier wedding cake topped with wedding bells. The bridal registry was attended by Mrs. Bill Gauthreaux, Atlanta.
