Jeff Moore to run for District Court Judge Assistant District Attorney William Jeffrey Moore has announced his candidacy for the District Court Judge Seat in Judicial District 16B "1 am honored to have served the people ofRobes^n County as an Assistant District Attorney for seven years." Moore said "To offer myself as a judge to the people of Robeson County requires commitment, experience and impartiality 1 will serve the people of Robeson County fairly and impartially as their District Court Judge." A native and life-long resident of Robeson County. Moore is a graduate of Prospect High School He graduated cum laude from Pembroke State University with a degree in Psychology and Philosophy He is a 1985 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hills School of Law He has worked for the U S Department of Agriculture, the Robeson County Mental Health Center. Most people take for granted seeing a live NBA basketball game. Hem/ever, to Aese kids, this was a realfirst time experience. One of the biggest thrills for the kids was getting autographs from the I harlatte Hornets players. In addition, Ike travel to Charlotte was? a big adventure for the kids. The primary objective of this outing was to expose these youth to situations that they ordinarily may not participate in due to social and economic barriers.
