Locklear I ' (South Pembroke Precinct) Mr. Locklear is married to Molly O. Locklear. They have two children, Brooke C. Locklear and Bradley M. Locklear. He is the son of Mrs. Gertrude ~~tocklear and the late Marshall Locklear. Both Mr. Locklear's parents are retired teachers. His brother works as an insurance adjustor with Ford Co. He is a member of Berea Baptist Church and sings with the Adult Choir. Mr. Locklear graduated from PSV with a degree in Business Administration; Appalachian State University with a Masters in Business Administration; and UNC Chapel Hill Law School He is a member of the Bar Association and the District Court Judge Association. A former Assistant DA itith Robeson County, he is a District Court Judge. He taught at Southeastern Community College and Robeson Community College. William Jeffrey Moore (Prospect Precinct) Mr. Moor els married to Br en da Johnson Moore and they have fivo children Lauren Breshen Moore and Briana Page Moore. He is a descendant of W. L. Moore, who was his great-grandfather. Mr. Moore graduated from Prospect High School. He is a graduate of Pembroke State University with a BS in Psychology and Philosophy; and the University ofN.C. at Chape! Hill with a Juris Doctor. He has worked with the Robeson County Mental Health Center, the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Lumber River Legal Services, Robeson County District Attorney's office, District Court Judge, Instructor at UNCP and Robeson Community College. Mr. Moore is a former board member with Four County Community Services, former board member with Lumber River Legal Services, and Robeson Selection Committee, Morehead Scholarship. % i Earl H. Strickland (Lumberton H8 Precinct) Mr. Strickland is married to the former Peggy Lowry. They have two sons, Seth and Justin. He is the son of Willardand Lady Strickland of the Prospect community. A graduate of Prospect High School, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Yale Law School, he is a member of Robeson County Bar Association, North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is past president of Robeson County Bar Association. Mr. Strickland is a former attorney for Public Schools of Robeson County and is the present attorney for Pembroke Housing Authority. He has been in legal practice in Robeson County since 1976. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa fraternity. Horace l.ocklear (Back Swamp Precinct) Mr. Locklear is married to the former Barbara Braveboy and they have three children, MilUcent, H. bryan, and J. Edwin. He is a graduate of Pembroke State University with a B.S. Degree and also a Juris Doctorate from the North Carolina Central University School of Lmv in Durham. He was previously employed with Piney Grove Elementary School as a public school teacher, Lumberton; and a consultant with North Carolina Fund in Durham. He had a private law practice in Lumberton; was a member of North Carolina House of Representatives; a consultant to N.C. Governor James B. Hunt, Raleigh; and is now in private business. He received the honor of being the first Native American admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and to practice law in North Carolina; the second Native A merican to serve in the N.C. House of Representatives; Outstanding Young Men of America, and was in Who's Who in North Carolina. - * n Carlton M. Mansfield (North Pembroke Precinct) Mr. Mansfield is married to the former Alicia Joy Hardin and they have one daughter, Emma line Austin Hardin Man field. Born in Charlotte, N.C., he is the son of Elaine M. and C. Franklin Mansfield. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hi! with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and he has a Juris Doctor from the University of North CaroUrutMt-Chapel Hill. An associate of Mr. Sanders and the state's key witness later pleaded guilty to the murder.
