SPEAK THE TRUTH AND SPEAK IT EVER COST IT WHAT IT WILL FOR HE WHO HIDES THE WRONG HE DID HAS DONE THE WRONG DEED STILL Letter To The Editor: Democrat Donald Bonner sent letters to his 'selected constituents' dated August 26, 1997. Bonner should know "A Lying Tongue is an Abomination to the Holy Spirit" Yet, he continues to spread LIES, LIES, LIES just as he did during the 1996 Elections with Radio Ads of "False Statements" Misleading "Unwise" Voters. We ALL know Donald Bonner received a Grade of "D" from the "Insider"-a State Government News Service. In attempting to justify his grade "D" he compiled four (4) Tables of data which contain more erroneous LIES, LIES, LIES which he 'mailed' on the General Assembly's "stationery" and at the "expense of taxpayers." I am anxious to know what 'Grade' did Bonner receive in his College Statistics Course. He, apparently, does not know how to collect "Truthful Comparative Data." Bonner's comparison of himself apd Frances Cummings is like comparing a 'Wise Woman Legislator" (Lawmaker) to a man who carried a Blank Book and a Pen" as a "Kindergarten Student" to learn, attending school for the first day. Bonner needs to "Awake From his Sleep; also, to be Endowed with the Holy Spirit." The Holy Spirit inspires Frances Cummings and me, Yvonne. BONNER'S LEGISLATIVE COMPARISON 199*.IQQ7Bonner's Table IV (Comparison of Effectiveness of Dist 87 Representatives! shows he introduced two House Bills which were Ratified. The "irony is he didn't tell what the House Bills were and how "Important and Necessary" they are for District 87. _ > V" Because of Bonner's lack of "Knowledge," he does not know the "Difference" between a House Bill (Law) and a Resolution. According to the NC General Assembly 1997 Report, Bonner introduced and had * Ratified one House Bill and a Resolution: H683 Honor Joy Joseph Johnson - *R - 4-22-97 - Ch. *Res 97-06 H61S Public Defender/D16 - - - *R - 6-16-97 - Ch. SL 97-0175 The Robesonian, dated 9-7-97, stated, "Bonner' bill to allow Robeson County's senior Superior Court judge to appoint the public defender." In Bonner's letters mailed to his 'Selected People' he stated he had two (2) Bills Ratified. Why did the Robesonian not publish Bonner's other Bill. Because there was 'no other' Bill. Bonner introduced ONLY one House Bill; not two as he stated in his mailed letters around District 87. Bonner presented a "Resolution" to Honor Rev. Joy Joseph Johnson which is not a House Bill. Again, BONNER "LIED" to his people. Why would Donald Bonner have his constituents believe his Table IV data? He did, however, give himself 100%. For What? . _ Bonner should "Thank" Senator David Weinstein for the two thousand five hundred dollars (S2,500) for the African-American Cultural Center. David did that which Democrat Donald Bonner should have done as a "Thank You" t ~ to Rev. Joy J. Johnson, rather than a "Resolution" to Honor Dr. Joy Johnson. In Comparison to The Honorable Frances M cA rthu rC ummings, Bonner's Table IV shows she had two (2) Ratified Bills last session. The Real Truth, (which Bonner chose to LIE about) is "Frances had 5 Sponsored House Bills ^Ratified and Recorded in the Chapters of the General Statues 1995-96:" HB 146 Lumberton Vehicle Towing *R 5-1-95 Ch. 0053 HB 178 Scotland Co. Roofing Permit *R 5-30-95 Ch. 0124 HB1112 Maxton Historic Property Conveyance *R 6-20-96 Ch. 0576 HB1072 Pembroke State Univ. Name Change *R 6-21-96 Ch. 0603 HB 242 UNC/Uniform Reversion Rate - *R Budget?(Special Provision) In addition, Frances co-sponsored 38 House Bills which were Ratified in 1995-96. Bonner also shows in his Table IV that Frances introduced 10 House Bills. Again, the Real Truth is Frances introduced eighteen (18) House Bills during the 1995-96 session (1995-11 bills and 1996-7 bills). Because of a limit of the number of House Bills a Member could have, a kind member of the Democrat Political Party gave one of her Bill slots so that Frances, a member of the Republican Party, could have one more slot to introduce a Bill for the people. This Democrat knew that Frances had "Good Ideas and would not stand in the way of Progress." Frances Cummings is proud of her four (4) sponsored House Bills for "ELECTIONS REFORM", one of which was HB203?ELIMINATE STRAIGHT-TICKET VOTING." Others included Continuing Contract (12 months) for Teachers; Scotland School Funding; Firefighters Classifications; School Central Office Salaries Increase, and others. Frances' name will always be remembered by "All Wise" People who did "Shade the Oval and Pulled Lever #23C, 1996 General Elections." HB202 Moment of Silence "Prayer Bill" was passed (1995) by the NC House 95 "Yes"; 12 "No." Donald Bonner would not have supported this House Bill according to his statement in the Fayetteville Observer Times. The entire Robeson County delegation did Vote "YES." The above "Record of Facts" is taken from the General Assembly's 4-page record dated 7-15-96-4:39 p.m. for The Honorable Frances M. Cummings. Bonner mailed letters to "selected" constituents with data which are INCORRECT?"LIES, LIES, LIES" once again distributed by a man who is "Depressed" over a 'D' Grade by the Insider, a St Government News Service. How can you TRUST a United Methodist Lay-Leader and Lay Speaker who does not "Speak or Write" True FACTS? Bonner's statistics are "FLAWED." He needs a lesson in Statistics 101 (Gathering Data-FACTS) and the Holy Spirit in his Heart, Hands, and Tongue. Bonner also chose not to tell his constituents about Frances Cummings' Sponsored and Ratified seven (7) House Bills in 1993-1994. HB163 Robeson Sub-Division Definition - *R 6-8-93 Ch. 0131 HB471 Vocational Ed. Technical Changes - *R 6-17-93 Ch. 0180 HB809 Childhood Hunger Funds - *R Budget 1994 - - $50,000 HB 1374 Historic Sites Funds - *R Budget 1994 - SIMillion HB 1490 Scotland DMV/Hwy. Funds - *R Budget 1994 - $250,000 HB 1634 Lumberton Filing Period - *R 6-20-94 Ch. 0567 HB 1826 Robeson Library Funds - *R Budget 1994 -$25,000 Grant Cummings also co-sponsored fifty-one (51) House Bills which were Ratified in 1993-94. Bonner's Table IV (after 48 months) should have shown 28 sponsored Bills; 11 Ratified; and 90 Co-sponsored- Ratified Bills. Donald Bonner chose not to include a "Table" that should have shown over ten (10) Million dollars that Frances was able to get for her House District 87, including Robeson County. These^appropriation^ went to Rowland Masonic Building; Scotland County Highway/DMV Office, Humphrey-Williaras-Smith C Plantation; Robeson County Cancer Institute; Flora Macdonald Academy; C Teachers Retirement; Farmers Market; Hunger Funds; Maxton and Robeson Co. Cultural Programs; Pembroke State University, etc. 9 Cummings' House Bill 1374 (Historic Sites Funds) for SI Million dollars was Ratified in the 1993 Budget In addition, she received special funding for PSU \ Administrative Bldg. (Bond); Scholarships, and over S100,000 dollars in PSU C Reversion Funds sponsored by Frances. C TABLE III: RANKINGS/GRADES/SCORES OF ROBESON COUNTY I NC HOUSE MEMBERS 1996-1997 1 How can Bonner put the ranking in proper perspective (his letter states) when \ his listed rankings/grades for the entire "Legislative Delegation" are \ misleading and erroneously incorrect? Bonner's LIES and DECEPTIVE a Strategies are certainly not "proficient and do not show dignity" (as his letter 9 states); not to mention his "Lack of Integrity." 9 Bonner's Table IV data indicate he has the "Advantage" compared to Frances 1 Cummings. I will say, Bonner Can NEVER, EVER SURPASS The Honorable j Frances M. Cummings' Successful Legislative Achievements. Bonner's voting K record "Is Not" an 'Advantage' (according to his mailed letters to his 'selected' C constituents). Bonner has given to Robeson, Hoke, and Scotland Counties (House District 87) 1 a Grade "D" - meaning "D - DEVASTATION." 1 QUESTION: Why did the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) C give Frances Cummings an Endorsement 1996? ANSWER: NCAE is convinced Frances is 100% Qualified and her Promises 9 are not as "Scattered Dreams." J Frances Cummings NEVER made a "D" in her FIRST TERM. NCAE \ honored her with an A+ Legislators Award in 1993. Did Bonner receive an A+ C Legislators Award? I am anxious to know the day, month, and year. Frances C also received three "A's" in 1995-96 and five endorsements. Had Bonner received Grade "D" and gained the "Successful Legislative 1 Achievements" as The Honorable Frances McArthur Cummings, people } would not have been so much "Disappointed" with him. His Grade "D" would m have been "overlooked" as a mistake on behalf of the Insider. ( Donald Bonner "Wake Up!" STOP "SLEEPING" in the General Assembly, f Pray, as King Solomon prayed, for Wisdom and Understanding. I am only J angry with you for being^a "Liar." I have 'Compassion' on you. 1 Bonner should remove himself from the General Assembly. He said to a friend \ of mine, 8-31-97, that he only became a Candidate because he didn't have C anything else to do, so he tried politics. Bonner's other stated reason for a seeking office was because Frances changed Political Parties. 9 Bonner did not change his "Membership" from the Democrat Political Party. 1 Neither has his "LIES" changed to "TRUTH." Nor has his "Brain" increased 1 its activity in the NC General Assembly to bring forth People's Prosperity for \ House District 87. Bonner also needs to go to the Institute of Political C Leadership. BONNER'S HOUSE RESOLUTION: I Bonner "claimed^ a Resolution as a Ratified State Bill (Law) in his mailed _ letters to people. State Rep. Ronnie Sutton, House District 85, also presented a Resolution to Honor Adolph Dial. QUESTION: Did Rep. Sutton claim his Resolution as a State House Bill? ANSWER: "NO." Rep. Sutton Is more intelligent than to do so. QUESTION: Was it necessary for Democrat Donald Bonner to spohsor a Resolution to Honor Rev. Joy Joseph Johnson? ANSWER: "NO." WHY? Rev. Joy J. Johnson cannot hear, see, or speak. Give me (Yvonne) my Praises and a Rose to smell its fragrance while I inhale the Holy Breath of Life. I expect Bonner to fulfill the Dream of Rev. Joy Johnson by planning a FundRaising Event to have improvements for the African-American Cultural Center. He, doing so, will be as Gratitude for the Political Support Rev. Johnson and Omega Johnson had given to Bonner. I can remember Rev. Joy Johnson saying to me, "Donald Bonner's Brain is Lazy." Yet, Rev. Johnson supported Bonner. Why? ANSWER: They are both Democrats. Being a Member of the Democrat 1 Political Party or Republican Party CANNOT give you Wisdom. Only the C Holy Spirit "Can Do So." Both Political Parties have the "Wise and Fools" (Unwise) Together. The Holy Scriptures remind us Lord Jesus said, "Depart 9 From Me Ye Fools and Hypocrites." J General Elections 1996: Many Pastors; Certified Lay-Leaders; and Lay I Speakers in Robeson, Hoke, and Scotland Counties (District 87) "Sheltered J Under" the Name of the Democrat Political Party, instead of The Holy 1 Word?"TRUTH" thus, 'Misleading' Registered Voters by concealing the 1 "TRUTH.". 7 f "Qualified, Registered Voters" listened not to such kind of Pastors, Lay- j Leaders, or Lay Speakers, but rather, "Shaded the Oval and Pulled Lever C C23" next to the "Name" Frances M. Cummings. * The "Straight Democrat" Voting Ticket has "NOT" Blessed Robeson, Hoke, 9 and Scotland Counties?District 87. 9 We need True Christians to Speak, Revise, and Write State Laws for ALL 1 People inspite of Political Party Affiliation, Gender, or Denominational 1 Church Membership. 1 I do hope 1998 General Elections, a "New Candidate" will be Elected for House District 87; someone who can "CREATE" a Peaceful Atmosphere by Increasing Prosperity for Future Years. Our Senator David Weinstein, District #30, did more during his First Term in the General Assembly for House District 87 than Donald Bonner. Thank you David. REMEMBER MY DEAR FRIENDS: The Honorable Frances McArthur Cummings will 'forever' be a "Heavenly Soldier on the Political Battlefield." Cheerio Until Next Week. Peace Profound. AMEN. V BVi-WA.
