LRDA to Begin Taking
LIHEAP Applications
The Lumbee Regional Development Association, Inc. will begin accepting
applications for a one-time energy assistance payment for low-income Indian
households on November 5 through November 16, 2001.
Some Food Stamp Households wTio met the LIHEAP eligibility criteria are
scheduled to receive automatic benefits in February 2002. Those households
not receiving food stamp approvals by mail must apply at the LRDA Energy
Office in Robeson, Hoke, and Scotland Counties.
Please bring correct information to expedite your application. (1) Social
Security cards for all household members. (2) Verification of income for all
household members for October Only. (3) Proof of October Bank Statement,
(4) Date of Birth for all household members. (5) Home telephone number,
or where you may be reached (6) Picture ID with current address listed.
The Lumbee Regional Development Association has contracted the LIHEAP
from The Lumbee Tribal Council for FY 2001-2001. If you have any questions
