Nc 283/2-1&10 25c Pee Wee Miss Heart of Fayetteville Crowned Evita Saybrianna Sanderson lias captured the title of the 1st Annual Miss Heart of Fayetteville. Evita was crowned Pee Wee Miss Heart of Fayetteville on June 7. 2003. She also won Super Model Search in her age division. Evita is the 5 year old daughter of Sabrina Sanderson and Michael Floyd. The granddaughter of the late Sylvia L. Sanderson and the late James Edward and Mary Francis Floyd. The great-granddaughter of the late Ira and Nancy Sanderson. Groundbreaking.set for three major UNCP construction projects PEMBROKE.N.C.Groundbreaking ceremonies for three major construction projects will be held Thursday. June 26. 10 a.m. at the Water Feature amphitheater on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In the event of rain, the groundbreaking will be held in Givens Performing Arts Center The projects arc part of the largest construction boom in the university's history They arc: * $17 million renovation and addition to Oxendine Science Building * $9 million renovation and addition to Jones Health and Physical Education Building and. * $5.7 million Physical Plant Complex These projects are the first of many projects to be funded by S 57 million that UNCP will receive from North Carolina Higher Education Bonds * Oxendine Science Building . which houses the Departments of Mathematics and Computer Science. Biology and Chemistry and Physics, will be completely renovated, inside and out, with a neu laboratory wing. * Jones Health and Physical Education Building will be renovated and new classrooms and offices w ill be added. * The new Physical Science Complex is located on the north end of the campus. It will house all maintenance operation, motor pool. Business Services and the offices of Facilities Planning and Construction.
