The entire house waa transformed into a tropical flower garden by the artlatie deoorwsione, sweet pees, daisies and (eras being used profusely taroujrhoiit, a baokgrouad of ferns and ivy makiag a beaajtifui aet ting for the receiving Tina. The gueats were rei-eived in the front hall bv Miss Fieher aaeisted by the guests of honor, Mwees Pell and Jen kins, and isa Sapp. The dining-room waa especially beautiful, the color scheme of white and pink being carried out with unusual perfeotnesa in the decorations and refreshments. During the evening progressive hearts was played, seven tables being occupied, and the prize, a beautiful bunch of sweet peas, was won by Mies Ruth Vanstory. After this delightful refreshment, con sisting of mints, roasted peaauta, al monds, cream and the like, were served by Miss Maud Fisher, sister of the hostess, Mr. R. T. Rosemond and Mies Jackman.
