Owing to the health of Col. Long It was not possible to have a big. celebration and they decided to have simply a dinner with their eon; and daughters present. A bank of ferns and vy formed an attractive and beautiful background. In the hall and dining room of the house a profusion of ferns. cut ivy, and pines wero effectively used. Prior to the entrance of the bridal party. Miss Lucy Hartsoll sang "At Dawning," and 'Miss Cottrell Sherrlll I Love You Truly," both aooompanied by Miss Margaret Hartsell, who also played the wedding march and reces sional. Catherine Archibald and Charles Mets, ribbon bearers, entered first tak ing places on either side of altar. They wore followed by Charles Sloop, who carried the ring In a pink rose. The maid of honor, Miss Virginia' Wilkin son, entered with Mr. Hipping. She wore a gown of inrquolse taffeta and tulle, and carried a handsome bouquet of pink carnations. The bride and bridegroom entered together, and were married with the Methodist ritual. The bride wore a lovely brown suit with accessories to match, and carried an exquisite banquet of lilies of the valley. Following the ceremony, the guests were Invited into the dining room, where a salad course was served by Misses Elizabeth and' Mary Dayvault. Mr. and Mrs. Teague left immediately ifter'the ceremony for Jacksonville, Fin., where they will spend some time. They will make their home here for the present with Mrs. Barringer.
