Hurley and Bates, who sang Parker's "Stella- and Stokowskl's "In Excelsls Gloria." - ' ( The program opened with the sing ing by everyone of such Christmas ores as "Silent Night." "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing," and "O, Come. All Te Faithful." The children pleased the audience much with their singing of "The Birthday of a King and Christmas Eve," old English carols. The very little tots also had their songs and won much applause with the carol of the flowers and the carol at the birds. Other Welsh and English carrols were aung by the children. One Interesting novelty of th pro gram waa th singing of Christmas carols In Spanish, la French and In German by smaller group of stu dents.
