TEIE subscriber wishes to tell that elegant and highly improved situation, having thereon a pott superb Dwelling House, the workmanship of jy oat house- thereto attached for hi convenience ; a spacious Ice House, a Mill on Big Fishing creek, within 200 yards of the Dwelling House, having Jour grists, to-wit) one pair Burrs, one pair Cologn, fc two pair Albany Stones, two set of Bolting Cloths, : : and Screan and Fan ; a Cotton Gin, with. J2 tawe 9 inches. o diameter, soda Saw Mill, mil in good ' jrpau ; tumbling dam, Clled in with rock near ft one hundred yards in length, with a fine rock " foundation, which renders it safe from undermining at all tiroes. To these conveniences are attached about three ' thousand young Apple Tree, and ' twice that number of young Peach trees, all of which Ire beginning to bear, and will ere long yield an a bundantrharvest, as great pains have been taken in pruning and manuring them. At the Quarter (one mile distant) is a very valuable Granary, 32 by 30 feet, with two sheds 32 by 22 and 30 22 feet There are attached to these premises about 1 750 acres of Land well connected, all of which may be considered creek lands and first rata for this part of the country ; good for corn and very suitable for cotton, tobacco and wheat, with at least twelve con stant running Springs thereon. A residence often . .years has sufficiently proved this a healthy situation. Those wishing to purchase I presume will first view the premises, and I flatter myself they will be high- s j pleased, as it is considered one of the most desi rable situations in the state. ; I have for sale, also, a tract of land containing 179 acres, situate two miles irom Halifax, extend leg from Little, across Big Quankey, and on the f luria toad leading from Halifax to Warrenton There are a sufficiency of Apple trees on this place . to make eight or ten barrels of brandy per year. The eli gible LOT on which I reside, containing one acre, is from its eleVated situation, amongst the most valuable in the city; it lies between the Eagle llosel, and Newbein Branch Bank, and near the Slate Bank and State-House. July 21. 1315- rtl, COMMITTED 'T"0 the Jail of this county as a runaway, on Thursday th 6th initant, a nerro man by the name of Abraham who was late! taken from this county by John Stroud of urang t wtorria, and as be says, was sold by said Stroud to a .certain Jesse Round tree, in the neighbour, hood of Augusta. There are several charges now against the said Abraham of a criminal nature, for which he will stand his trial on the second Monday of next Month Should he escape death, his owner is requested to come forward, prove property, pay charges and take him away. "pHE patent rictt to this LOO.f, so far at respects tbe -State of IXcrth-Carolina, has been purchased by a Company of Gentlemen, who intend as soon as possible, to have constructed a number of the Looms fur sale. They will have Looms it operation in different parts of ne state ait tne course oi ure ensuing Spring. Those per. sons who with to purchase Looms, will make application to Samuel C. Bra me, at Raleigh, and the Looms will be sent to them at the expence of the Company. The Com. pany can with confidence recommend this Loom as one of fie most useful improvement in the Domestic Art, which has been made ; fifteen or t went v yards can with ease be woven in a day, of a thread which is usually denominated "atwelve hundred," and c' a thread denominated " a six hundred," from thirty to forty yard can be woven in the day. A person can learn t!ie art of weaving on this Loom in two or three days. The whole process of weav ng is carried oaby the motion of the Batton.
