The quartet which has been in Durham about three weeks comes from Daltimore, Maryland. The capacity audi ence gave the singers a vnry warm reception and there was genuine enthusiasm for certain numbers because the type of music that was rendered o v this program is not heard often, enjoyed for the beauty of the songs alone but likewise for the depth, of expression which the singers exhibited. These fflen seemed to pour their v e r *y souls into their songs and the close rapport existed between performers and audience con tributed greatly to the success of the prograWT The'*rhembers of thf» quartet are William Henry Bibbins, first tenor; Samuel Thomas, second tenor; William Collier, first Bass, and J, H.
