New Orleans. Hospital nursing executives also were present and formed a national conference to imei annually' with the administrators. President of the hospital administrators is Albert W. Dent, superintendent of Flint - Goodrich, standing in ex act center of doorway. The 1942 coinference will be held at Provi dent hospital, Chicago, whose medical director, Dt. John Wj. Law- lah, is secretary-treasurer of the national group.—(ANP) f 27th OBSERVANCaS OF NATIONAL NEGRO HEALTH WEEK In these turbelent days of strifs ani of rapid defense prepara tion, the safeguarding and improven^eht of public health is just as important to our national defense as the rapid production of war. The military might of any couriry is based, in part, upon the relative physical well being of its armed forces and civilian population. In view of these facts, the annual Health Week Pro gram, sponsored by the National Nej|ro Health Week Comm, of The United States Public Health Service, takes on an added sig nificance.
