The “Qogginette Trophy for Novice Open Pairs” will be awarded to the winner in the form of a replica. The cream of the ierop, how ever, will be locked in competi tion for the masters individual championship. Only top ranking players according to total master point holding are eligible for this event. Dr. A. M. Curtis of Pater son, New Jersey is last year’s winner and will be entered ligain IS oased upen central location of the host city and reports of probable attend ance from areas not heretofore reptesented in ttie nationals such as New Orleans, St. Ijouis, Mont gomery and Los Angeles.
