J, Mo{fe, president of the local society and general NDA convention chairman, haa announced that more than 700 dentists from all sections of the country are expected to come to Kansas City for the annual meeting of Negro den tists. Local leaders in the pro fession, public officials, and the general citizenry have ex tended to the local committee full cooperation in planning for the important convention. Dixon, dean of the Cbllt^e of Dentistry, Howard University, Washington, will respond to. the city manager. Dr. Moore will preside. Federal health legislation will be discussed at an open meeting scheduled for Wed nesday, August 10, 4:00 p. m., at the Lincoln High School ^ headquarters *of the Associa tion. Feature speaker for this . discussion will be Dr. Daniel J. Daley, chief, Division of Felfll^ral Employees Health, Federal Security Agency, in Washington. Dr. Charles M. Thompson, NDA leg^islative chairman, who recently went from Chicago to Washington to testify on behalf of health legislation, will moderate this discussion. Several broadcasts involving President Dixon, NDA Presi dent-elect William D. Giles, Chi cago dentist, and 'other leaderi of the A.S8ooiation, will be heard during the oonvention period.
