SPENDS SUMMER IN WASHINGTON Miss Florence Collins is at home after spending the summer in Washington, D. C. ENTERTAINED The Community Male Chorus of Goldsboro organized and formerly under the dire«tion of the late Mrs. Mai;garet Rice Morgan were highly entertained last Siunday afternoon by the Community Male Chorus of Durham, N, C. The two Choruses rendered a splendid program at the North Side Baptist Church «t 3:00 in the afternoon. From there they went to the Com munity Center where they were sereved punch, baked ham, string beans, pickled peaches, rolls, ice cream and served sev eral kinds of cake. The visiting chorus left declaring that they had had a wonderful time. CLUB HOLDS MEET The West Durham Garden Club met Monday night, Sep tember 5 at the home of Mrs. Mattye Plummer, Caswell Place.
