The little plant which has worked so valiantly to keep up with
the demand for HADACOL will become a garage shop to service
the ever increasing fleet of HADACOL trucks. Constant additions
are being made to this fleet, as quite often the trucks must be on
the road day and night so that two men are needed, one driving
while the other sleeps in a special compartment.
This realization of Mr. LeBlanc’s dream is a far cry from the
early days of HADACOL when most of the sales could be directly
traced to his personal recommendations, and word-of-mouth ad
vertising. From these small beginnings, Mr. LeBlanc continued his
efforts because of his interest in alleviating the suffering of the
many who were sick or old. As president pro-tem of the Louisiana
State Senate, he was a leader in the movement to get increased
pensions for older persons, and his study of the pensions system
made him a much sought after authority on the subject.
This fall, Mr. LeBlanc directed the most intensive campai^
