year, January 8 with Mrs. Hass
Steplight at her home on More-

The devotion was conducted
in the usual manner, with the
vice i)resident, Mrs. Aggie Mc-

Mrs. Addie Nunn made a re
port on the Christmas baskets
and donations that w'ere given j

completed this most congenial

First niteresthig stop was in
quaint old Charleston, S. C.
spent two pleasant and sight see
ing evenings and nights in,
Jacksonville visited the “Foun-i

tractions in old St. Anjjustine,
[ Florida, /
Scenery all the w^y, w ith
balmy waethcr, was superb but
but when one saw “Daytona
Beach" witli its glamorous
colorings in houses, wonderful
flowers and sliubbery it was
overwhleming to one who’s not
before visited this part of the
“sunny South.”
It was gratifying to ride
through the campus of Dr. Mary
Mcljcod Bethyne’s wonder col-
lege.
From there the way | was
wended, still along the coa^ to
Miami — another wonder city.
Christmas day was enjoyed
here—then, on Monday, Dec
ember 26, this party took flight
on the Pan American Clipper—
a delightful 55 minute sail in
the air—which landed us on the
strange ground of Havanna and
surrounding country.
The trip back nearer the cen
ter of Florida, carried us to the
most beautiful “Rok Singing
Tower,” “Silver Springs” and
so on among miles and miles of
strange graves—a sight to be
hold!
