The event was the first bas ketball home game of the season which saw West Virginia State College defeat the North Caro lina College five. The crowd that flocked to the gymnasium, Monday night, Jan 9, was so large that twice as many people as the gymnasium accommodated were said to have been turned away. In the scram ble for seats three co-eds were injured and had to be given first aid. School officials were said to be planning curtailment of spectators space at future has ketball games.
