was feted at a dinner party
June 2nd with principal P. G.
Buniett as host. The faculty as
sembled in a classroom until the
appointed hour, which was wel
comed by all. Upon request of
the principal, they were ushered
into the cafeteHa at 8:3Q
o’clock, where the ladies were
presented corsages of red roses
and fern, the men white carna
tions.
The tables looked very pretty
with its linen cloth and center
piece of red roses, snap dragons,
baby’s breath and fern.
The menu consisted of grape
fruit cocktail, quartered fried
chicken, gardbn peas, mashed
potatoes, gavy, pineapple salad,
hot rolls, iced tea, ice cream and
cake, mints and nuts.

ing was held at which time it
was decided to give the play
“Glory Bound” for the benefit
of the Church Building Fund.
A short social hour was th^n
enjoyed, at which time the guests
were invited into Mrs. Thomp
son’s dining room which was

spring flowers.
A menu composed of baked
ham, potato salad, ritz, punch,
ice cream, homemade pound
cake topped with . chibcolate
syrup, peanuts and candy was
