Theodore Newman, white storekeeper, told Sampson Coi^ C^roner-Dr.’ J. S.' Ayers that Warren Harding Williams, whose address was given as Route 1, Salemburg, came into his store on Saturday night and bou^t groceries. An argument ensued over payment, and, according to New man, Williams left, then return ed waving a .22 calibre pistol^at him.
