Hie affair took place at the home of Mrs. J. W. V. Cordice, 150* Faj’etteville Street. The home was beautifully decorated with verj- pretty flower arrangements done by Mrs. Corlicc from her own garden. The ladies assembled in the spacious li\ing room around the i honored guests, where many kind won}* were spoken by each mem-1 ber with the president, Mrs. Chat E. Rivera, leading. Mrs. Lil Bu chanan rendered an orginal pome, entitled “Baltimore Bound." Gifts were then preaented to the honored guests by Mrs. Julia Har ris. Mrs. Goins responded with thanks and appreciation. , Mrs. Cordice invited the ladies intu the dinning room where all sat around the dining table in an old fashioned famltj^'stylc and- enjoyed a menu of salad plate with punch and accompaniment.
