Bridesmaids were Mrs. Mozella CaHon Funaral Funeral Services were held Sat urday, Jane 16 at Hamlet Chapel r^-nrrh for Harvey Leo Cotton who died Wednesday at ^iemorial Hospital after a short illness. Daughter's Graduation Mrs. Lattice Vickers attended the graduating exercises at Morgan State College in Baltimore, Md. of her daughter, Mrs. Gloria Vickera Warren. * McLaughlin and Mrs. Geneva Dil lard, sisters of the bride. Mrs. Mc Laughlin wore a light blue chif fon dress decorated with rhine stones. Mrs. Dillard wore a pink rayon dress with pleated skirt. Both carried bouquets of pink and white jreosbuds. Murice Glenn of Durham was best man. The brido was graauated from Johnson C. Smith University. She also holds Masters’ degrees from New York University and'^Colum bia University respectively. Mrs.' Polly Atwat er McCauley is working with the girls’ Softball teams. . * * * Y-TMtH OrganixMi On Sunday afternoon a group of mothers, friends and young girls met at the home of Mrs. Thomasine Regester for the pur pose of forming a Y-Teen group among our yoong girls. Mrs Dan ny Young, who is the organizer of the white Y-Teen group, met withlhe group to explain how to get it started and other worth while purposes of this group. It was decided that we would work with girls in the 12-14 age group since they seem to be more interested at this time. Mrs. Hegester was elected as oui* supervisor and Mrs. Joyce Owens was elected as temporary director. Those present were; Mesdames; Helen Himes, Barbara Oldham, Arvella Briggs, Allene Baldwin, Mannie Davis, H. K. Russell, W. A. Terrill, who is secretary of the other Y-Teen Group, Mrs. Danny Young, Thomasine Regester, and Mrs. Joyce Owens. Also Misses; Velma Perry, A. L. Thompson, Jacqueline Edwards, Sandra Gattis, Donna Joe Oldham, Cunthia Hines, Edith Briggs, Caro lyn Briggs, Gwen Harris, Donna Joe Owens and a group of the white Y-Tee|js. They wrere; Lee Miner, Lue Bllen Terrill, Libby Russell, Virginia Baldwin, Jane B. Russell and Susan Grina.
