The May birthday party of
the Senior Citizens at St. Titus'
church honored Mrs. Geneva
Burke and Mrs. Julia Wheeler.
Lace tablecloths, candles, pe
onies and roses from Mrs. Ad
die Williams' garden, and red
and white roses from Mrs. Julia
Harris' garden made two tables
beautiful. Upon the tables were
pound cake and chicken salad
sandwiches—dainty and abun
dant—brought by Mrs. Burke,
and angel food cake and coco
nut cake brought bv Mrs Burke,
and angel rood case and coco
nut cake brought by Mrs
Wheeler. To these were added
ice cream, coffee, peanuts ana
mints. ani a bo\ m chocolate
cherries sent by Miss Bertie
Sowell, who couic not be pres
ent. After the grace and the
"Happy Birthday to You." it
was on to the feast
To a club gift and a club
greeting card for each honoree
were added the many individ
