Some of the activities that the Center staff will be engaged in include: collection, evaluation and dissemination of information on aging and aged Blacks; provision of technical and consultative services to public and private organizations serving the aged; promotion of effective courses in gerontology at colleges and universities where possible; conducting workshops and conferences on the special needs of Blacks in order to increase public awareness of the particular problems of aging.
