4 A THE CAROLINA TIMES SAT MAY 25, 1974 lM'.lttCM LEG'S- I LOOKED MID I SAW By Rev. C.R. Stone, D.D. .h : THE WORD IS HERE TO STAY" If there is one thing among 'God's peoples that is sure, it .must be the Word of God. When one does not believe the Word, it means he does not believe God. When one does not believe the Son of God, whom the Father has sent, he simply does' not believe God. When one does not believe the Son of God's work on divine matters and maintain himself in sincerity as true Christian. As a matter of fact, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost shall always be one thus, making the three in one concept unified. Practically every day of our lives we are able to observe the manifestations of God's Word over and over again. One good example of the manifestation of the Word is the time element attached to the word. No individual has enough power to turn back the hand of time concerning his own life. With this in mind, every man born into this world gets another day older as a fulfillment of God's Word. Further, no particular thing, no matter how all the things, under the sun is here 'to stay except the Word, but the Word is God. Things come into existence and go out of existence after a period of time, but the Word lingers on as a witness before , man in eternity. Man is the highest achievement of God's creation, but the Father chose not to leave him on earth to stay. God chose to make man a little lower than an angel, thus, giving man a bigger responsibility than any Other animal but the earth is not man's home. The Word of God Is cemented in the Father's love as a foundation that shall not be removed. In fact, the Word of our Father is never failing. Before the Word shall fail, heaven and earth shall pass into eternity with God. If man allows the Word to dwell In him, he shall at the end live eternally in the presence of God. He who hath ears to hear let him hear. DAVIS ),!, Last Held For Jasper Davis Mr. Jasper Nathaniel Davis, born February 17, 1930, departed this life May 18.
